The knowledge

The light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the Face of Christ Jesus.

That's what God says He reveals to us (2Corinthians 4:6).

I love cultures. Paul, too. In his concise statement, he includes all the cultures of his day. He starts with light, as we saw in this post. He continues with knowledge.

Knowledge, because we long to know God more. Knowledge means trust and experience. True heart knowledge takes root and transforms once it’s reached the deepest recesses of our being. We need to know who God is, and who we are. The quest to trust.

Knowledge was the quest of the Greeks. We owe them so much of our Western passion for knowledge and education. Ignorance, to the classic Greeks, was the ultimate evil.

What do you seek to know most? It will reveal what matters to you most.

Seek to know God in the Face of Christ Jesus. Jesus clearly taught that if you want to know anything about God, then simply look at Him.
